    From skeptic to superfan

Exceptional hosts create a welcoming environment while serving the most delicious homemade breakfasts. Enjoy unique themed rooms with luxurious linens. Watching wildlife like deer in the backyard adds to the charm of the stay.

Initial doubts arose from arriving early and finding the lodge locked. Minor shortcomings included some usual toiletries missing and coffee strength not meeting personal preference. Sleeping without AC could be uncomfortable on warm nights.

    The facts without the fluff

Rented the entire lodge for a family gathering. Beautifully rustic decor, custom-built bunk rooms, and themed spaces create a cozy atmosphere. The spacious grounds feature picnic tables and a converted bar for evening fun. Breakfast was delicious and served in a large, accommodating dining area. Owners treated us like family, making it a memorable stay.

The King Room Garden View was super comfy and clean, decorated with nice, rustic touches. Each room has its own bathroom, which is a big plus! The bedding was cozy, and I loved the themed decor. Although it could get a bit warm without AC on hot nights, overall, it had a really welcoming vibe. We had a great time chilling here after long days in the outdoors.

    cozy atmosphere

    limited activities for kids

We spent quality time exploring nearby activities like fishing, and it was so refreshing to go back to the cozy lodge with our little dog after a day of adventure. The welcoming atmosphere and rustic charm made it a lovely family spot.

My kids wished for more activities for them to enjoy.
